At Le’ Anima Studio, we prefer to focus on the creative aspect of the business. But we also need to consider some guidelines for the process in order to ensure that projects ends amicably (if not ecstatically).
The following are thus a tabulation of our method and policies.

The Preliminary Stage
If your project proposal is accepted, we will offer an estimate of cost based on the information provided.
If the client accepts the estimate, we will require a 50 percent deposit before work begins.
Payments are accepted exclusively via PayPal.
Commencement of work implies acceptance of our policies outlined here.
Further, we have certain expectations of our clients during this process:
– We expect a certain level of goodwill regarding what can be reasonably achieved in a given time frame.
– We require your co-operation to best service you. We may at times, request you to provide us with information, assistance or content. To assist us with managing our time we ask that you respond to our requests in a timely manner.
– We expect that the information, concepts and material provided for the project, are honest and lawful.
– We expect the Client to be of legal age to enter into this Agreement.

Confidentiality
Le’ Anima Studio will maintain in strict confidence any private information that the client provides (such as proprietary, technical or business information), and will not disclose such information to any third party except as may be required by a court or governmental authority.

The Process
We will provide the client with initial mock ups for their feedback and approval.
We will not proceed with any work until the mockups have been approved by the client.
We will work with the client to finalise the design work until both parties are happy.

Revisions
The project estimate offered does not include an unlimited number of revisions.

Excess Work
Adjustments and minor revisions to the original work are part of the creative process. However, if a client requests a do-over, makes extra design requests, or seeks an excessive or unreasonable number of revisions during a project, they will be informed that the alterations or changes requested fall outside the scope of the original estimate. We refer to this as “Excess Work”, which we define as any work involving additions to the original work that was not anticipated or agreed upon at the inception of the project.
We are open and happy to accommodating our clients. However, should a client request additional designs during the design process, a progress payment will be payable prior to further work being carried out. This will be charged at a rate of US$20 per hour.
In the event of a client requesting that we expedite project delivery ahead of the time needed for proper production of a given deadline, a fee  shall also be levied. This fee is determined on an individual basis.

Termination Policy
Occasionally, circumstances beyond the control of either party may result in the need for a project to be cancelled.
In the event of the client cancelling a project after a project has commenced, the advance payment (deposit) will be used to cover the cost of work done until that point. This cost will be calculated at a rate of $20 per hour. In addition, there will be a further cancellation fee of $50.
If the project is more than 50 percent complete, a prorata payment is payable for time spent up until cancellation notice.
If a project is cancelled by us, due to unforeseen circumstances, the deposit will be refunded in full to the client in a timely manner.

Approval of final Artwork
Once a project is complete, we require a written confirmation from the client of their acceptance of the final work.

Payment
Once the final work has been approved by the client, we require the balance of payment to be made before the artwork can be released.
There are no exceptions to this, i.e. if the client decides they no longer want the work, they are still obliged to pay for the work that has been done. Non-payment will result in legal action being taken if necessary.
Once full payment is received for the work, it is assumed that the project has been completed to the client’s satisfaction and no refunds will be offered.

Intellectual Property
All work remains the property of Le’ Anima Studio until final payment has been received. Once final payment has been confirmed, ownership will be handed over, unless stated otherwise.
Unused and discarded concept work not included in final designs will remain property of Le’ Anima Studio.
If final payment is not made, or the project is cancelled before completion, we retain ownership and reserve the right to reuse or amend any ideas at will.
We always intend to make original work. However, we cannot guarantee the exclusivity of any concept, strategy, design or other intellectual or physical property provided. Le’ Anima Studio will thus not accept liability for any alleged claim of unintentional similarities between work undertaken and third-party property.
It remains the client’s responsibility to seek copyright protection, if desired, for any intellectual property provided by us after ownership is transferred to the client.
Le’ Anima Studio reserves the right to use creative concepts and final design work for the purposes of marketing activities (both online and offline) unless otherwise agreed to with the Client. We thus retain the right to use the completed project and any preliminary designs for the purpose of, for example, design competitions, future publications on design, educational purposes, marketing materials and portfolio. Where applicable, the client will be given any necessary credit for usage of the project elements.
It is not permitted for any person to copy, use or reproduce any work or content created by Le’ Anima Studio, including content used on this website or in any form of correspondence with us, without our consent .

Indemnity
This agreement indemnifies Le’ Anima Studio in respect of any claims, costs and expenses arising out of any libellous matter or any infringement of copyright, patent, design or of any other proprietary or personal rights contained in any material published (both online and offline) for the Client. The indemnity shall extend to any amounts paid on a lawyer’s advice in settlement of any claim.

We further reserve the right to change these policies at any time without prior notice.
